About the role
The Associate Director will lead the Relationship Management function within the Priority Banking programme, overseeing a portfolio of high‑value clients. The role focuses on deepening existing relationships, acquiring new customers and cross‑selling the full suite of Consumer Banking products.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of priority banking clients, driving revenue and volume growth through new acquisition and increased product penetration.
- Conduct holistic needs analyses, provide tailored financial advice and coordinate with product specialists on retirement, estate, asset allocation and foreign‑exchange solutions.
- Maintain regular, proactive communication with clients and their influencers, delivering concise portfolio valuations and guidance.
- Identify opportunities to upscale clients to Private Banking and monitor market trends to inform recommendations.
- Resolve client issues promptly, turning service recoveries into sales opportunities and fostering loyalty.
- Gather competitive intelligence and ensure compliance with risk and regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- Proven experience in relationship management or private/priority banking.
- Strong understanding of consumer banking products and wealth‑management solutions.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with product specialists and senior stakeholders.
- Commitment to risk and compliance standards.
