Reservation Agent – Luxury Hotel (Bahrain)

About the role

We are looking for a Reservation Agent to join the team at Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain, a luxury beachfront resort. The role involves managing guest reservations across multiple channels and delivering a high‑standard, client‑focused service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of all hotel products and services.
• Answer telephone calls courteously, identify guest needs and provide accurate information.
• Check arrival reports 48 hours and 5 days before guest arrival.
• Process reservations received via email, fax, telephone or the website.
• Prepare Pro Forma invoices when requested by the accounts department.
• Upsell to maximise revenue and follow up on non‑guaranteed or wait‑listed bookings.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience in reservations, revenue or sales within a luxury hotel.
• Previous cross‑training or internship in reservation or sales departments.
• Ability to handle shift responsibilities and support new colleagues.

Required skills

• Opera Property Management System.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
