Senior Technical Architect – Oracle Flexcube

About the role

We are supporting a leading financial institution in Bahrain on a core banking transformation programme. The Senior Technical Architect will lead the design and delivery of Oracle Flexcube solutions, ensuring the platform meets performance, scalability and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the technical architecture for Oracle Flexcube implementations.
• Lead solution design, integration, and customization activities across modules such as CASA, Loans, Payments and Trade Finance.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Guide development, deployment and optimisation phases, ensuring high‑availability and resilience.
• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical direction throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years of experience in banking IT or core banking systems.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale transformation or modernisation programmes.
• Hands‑on expertise with Oracle Flexcube, including end‑to‑end implementations, upgrades or migrations.
• Experience in GCC banking environments is a plus.
