Assistant Reservation & Communication Manager

About the role

The Assistant Reservation & Communication Manager will support the Reservations department at Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and commercial performance while contributing to the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of internal and external service, quality and commercial performance against Central Reservations KPI objectives.
• Collaborate with hotel reservation teams to maximise revenue opportunities and reduce operational inefficiencies.
• Attend reservation‑related meetings and share insights on performance trends.
• Monitor automated reservation services, ensure optimal capacity and resolve service degradations.
• Handle guest complaints by coordinating solutions with relevant departments.
• Plan and schedule training for new colleagues across the department and hotels.
• Manage people performance, including development, target setting, reviews and performance assessments.
• Prepare monthly KPI reports for the Director of Reservations and Director of Revenue.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years experience as Assistant Reservations Manager or a similar hospitality role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from an accredited university.
• Strong knowledge of revenue management principles.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of Property Management System (PMS) platforms.
• Proficiency in revenue management techniques.
