Business Development Officer

About the role

UBL Bahrain is seeking a Business Development Officer for its Retail Banking team. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, attracting new customers, and driving deposit mobilization.

Key responsibilities

• Increase deposits through effective client engagement and sales strategies.
• Explore and develop new business avenues to expand the bank's customer base and market presence.
• Build relationships with prospective clients and promote a full range of banking products and services.
• Provide exceptional service by addressing basic customer concerns and escalating complex matters when necessary.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• At least 2 years of banking experience, especially in generating new clients through deposit mobilization.
• Experience in the Bahrain market is essential.
