Construction Procurement Coordinator – Manama

About the role

We are seeking an organized Construction Procurement Coordinator to manage purchasing activities for our construction projects in Manama. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, handling material requirements, and ensuring timely deliveries to keep projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily procurement and purchasing needs for construction sites.
• Source construction materials, tools, equipment, MEP items and consumables.
• Request, compare and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders, RFQs, purchase requests and quotation comparison sheets.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Track pending orders and ensure on‑time delivery to project sites.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes and approved requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases and delivery trackers.
• Collaborate with site engineers, project managers, storekeepers, accounts and suppliers.
• Prepare regular procurement updates and reports for management.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and local Bahrain suppliers.
• Experience with POs, RFQs, quotations, invoices, delivery notes and GRNs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and coordination abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Available to work immediately in Bahrain.
