Crisis Management & Security Officer

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a proactive Crisis Management & Security Officer to lead business continuity and security initiatives across its global operations. The role involves safeguarding people, assets and information while supporting the company’s commitment to sustainability and technological innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and continuously improve the Business Continuity Management System and related security and safety plans.
• Monitor regional stability, assess security threats, and conduct on‑site evaluations in high‑risk locations such as Algeria, Nigeria and Iraq.
• Support crisis response during pandemics and infectious disease outbreaks.
• Design and deliver training programs (e.g., Vismo, Business Trips, HEAT).
• Maintain the Crisis Management portal, review security plans for projects, approve subsistence allowance claims and manage travel requests.
• Update QMS documents, keep records and contracts up to date, and conduct regular system tests (satellite phones, AWS regional safety checks).
• Provide 24‑hour on‑call support for emergencies and ensure continuous improvement of the crisis management framework.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of relevant experience.
• Strong report‑writing ability in English and Arabic.
• Background in military, security, risk assessment or business continuity management.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AWS services for regional safety checks.
