Demi Chef de Partie – Bakery (Full‑time)

About the role

The Demi Chef de Partie – Bakery supports the bakery team in preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries and other baked goods while upholding the highest standards of quality, hygiene and food safety. This full‑time position is based at the Westin hotel on Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman Highway in Manama, Bahrain.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, mixing, shaping and baking of breads, pastries and confectionery items.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Support inventory management by receiving, storing and rotating bakery supplies.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new bakery creations and seasonal items.
• Ensure consistent product quality and presentation according to brand standards.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents or unsafe conditions to the supervisor promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience in a bakery or pastry environment.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift items up to 25 lb.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
• Professional appearance and clear communication skills.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of bakery equipment and baking techniques.
• Understanding of hygiene and food‑safety standards.
