Design Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and creative Design Manager to lead our design function, oversee creative projects and ensure high‑quality outcomes that align with brand standards and business goals. The role combines strategic vision, hands‑on design leadership and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the design team, allocating projects, managing workloads and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end design process from concept development through final delivery.
• Develop and maintain visual directions, brand guidelines and creative standards.
• Plan, schedule and monitor design projects, budgets, timelines and deliverables.
• Review and approve design work to ensure consistency, accuracy and brand alignment.
• Partner with marketing, sales, retail, operations and senior management to translate business objectives into effective visual solutions.
• Produce creative assets for branding, campaigns, digital platforms, social media, print, packaging, signage and promotional activities.
• Manage relationships with external agencies, printers, photographers and other creative partners.
• Monitor design trends, competitor activity and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
• Maintain an organised library of design files, templates and brand assets.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and creative quality.
• Provide coaching, feedback and professional development for team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Design Manager, Senior Designer, Creative Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high‑quality creative and design work.
• Deep knowledge of graphic design principles and brand management.
• Excellent communication, leadership and project‑management skills.
