Early Career Technical Applications Engineer (12‑month apprenticeship)

About the role

This 12‑month apprenticeship is designed for recent graduates eager to develop technical expertise in grid automation and power system applications. You will support business development, product pre‑qualification, and L2 technical support for customers in utilities, oil & gas, and related sectors across Bahrain.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct technical marketing sessions, generate opportunities from installed base and market data.
• Provide L2 application support, answer technical queries, develop customized solutions, and analyse field performance.
• Assist product launches, presentations, spec‑in activities, exhibitions, and site trials.
• Investigate and resolve product problems and non‑quality issues reported by customers.
• Support tendering teams by studying technical and commercial requirements and aid contract negotiations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor data, and customer specifications to improve GA solution awareness.
• Track product lifecycle events, firmware upgrades, and new feature releases, providing relevant customer support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduate or up to two years of relevant experience.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Legal right to work in Bahrain without sponsorship.
• Interest or project experience in automation, grid automation, or protection relays.
