Electrician – Hotel & Eco‑Lodge Maintenance

About the role

Mantis, a conservation‑focused hotel group, is looking for a skilled Electrician to maintain and install electrical systems across its hotels, eco‑lodges and related facilities. The role involves executing wiring plans, installing fixtures, performing preventive maintenance and responding to emergency calls, ensuring safe and reliable operation of all electrical assets.

Key responsibilities

• Execute electrical wiring plans for lighting, intercom and other systems.
• Install apparatus, fixtures and safety components, ensuring circuit compatibility.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, routine inspections and troubleshooting.
• Respond to emergency electrical work after midnight as per duty roster.
• Maintain fire‑alarm systems and address breakdowns of generators, STPs and desalination plants.
• Keep accurate logbooks of parts used and maintenance actions; report issues to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness around electrical work areas and support manpower needs.

Required profile

• Meticulous in installations and documentation.
• Adept at troubleshooting electrical faults.
• Readiness to support team members during emergencies and routine operations.
