Inventory Control Team Lead

About the role

The Inventory Control Team Lead will oversee daily inventory activities across Apparel Group’s retail stores in Bahrain. You will plan, coordinate and execute barcode and RF scanning operations, ensuring accurate stock records and timely completion of assigned bins.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate bins and tasks to team members, monitor workflow and ensure daily targets are met.
• Lead and supervise Inventory Control Assistants, briefing them on priorities and providing on‑the‑job guidance.
• Oversee barcode, PDT and RF scanning of merchandise, conduct random checks and report any discrepancies.
• Investigate inventory variances, coordinate recounts and escalate issues to management.
• Track productivity and accuracy metrics, prepare daily operational reports and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with retail operations to align inventory activities with store schedules.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months of experience in inventory control or retail stock management.
• Proven ability to lead a small team and meet productivity targets.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate discrepancies.
