Pastry Commis I (Entry Level)

About the role

The Pastry Commis I supports the pastry team at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, preparing high‑quality pastries, desserts, breads and specialty baked goods. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in a luxury hotel kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, viennoiseries, chocolates and specialty items following established recipes.
• Assist with daily kitchen operations, including mise en place and ingredient preparation.
• Ensure all products meet Four Seasons quality standards for taste, appearance and freshness.
• Maintain proper storage, labeling and FIFO rotation of all food items.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, sanitation and HACCP standards at all times.
• Keep workstations, equipment and storage areas clean and organized.
• Support receiving, inspection and storage of food deliveries, reporting any quality concerns.
• Assist with customized cake and dessert requests for special guests.

Required profile
