Sales Manager – Events (Luxury Hospitality)

About the role
The Sales Manager – Events will lead the events sales function for Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain, a luxury resort on Bahrain’s west coast. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, the role is responsible for managing key accounts, driving revenue growth and delivering the hotel’s commercial plan for the events segment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring effective communication and relationship management.
- Develop and implement short‑ and long‑term account development plans to maximise revenue.
- Execute the hotel’s annual commercial plan within the assigned events portfolio.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies to maintain market advantage.
- Prospect and pursue new business opportunities through diverse channels.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business or a related field from an accredited university.
- 8–10 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably with an international hospitality brand or a recognised blue‑chip organisation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
