About the role

The school seeks a passionate Secondary Music Teacher to deliver the British National Curriculum alongside Bahrain Ministry requirements. You will inspire students, nurture creativity, and contribute to a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for secondary students.
• Integrate British curriculum standards with Arabic, Islamic, and Social Studies requirements.
• Create a positive, nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes student wellbeing.
• Mentor newly qualified and early‑career teachers, supporting their professional development.
• Participate in school house activities and contribute to the broader school community.
• Collaborate with senior staff to identify pathways to middle and senior leadership roles.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or Music.
• Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
• Experience with the British curriculum preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for inspiring young people and fostering creativity.
