About the role
The University of Strathclyde, Bahrain is establishing a new international campus in Manama. As a Teaching Fellow / Lecturer you will help shape the academic culture and deliver undergraduate civil engineering education.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate teaching on the BEng Hons Civil Engineering programme.
- Design and deliver modules aligned with professional degree frameworks.
- Support student progression towards professional competency standards in structures, geotechnics and related disciplines.
- Establish teaching provision on the new campus and collaborate closely with colleagues in Glasgow.
Required profile
- Willingness to work on a formative stage of a new international campus.
- Ability to collaborate with academic staff based in Glasgow.
- Commitment to high‑quality undergraduate teaching in civil engineering.
Required skills
- Knowledge of core civil engineering subjects such as structures and geotechnics.
