Accounts Receivable & Financial Analyst

About the role

Woodco W.L.L. is looking for an experienced finance professional to join its core finance team. The role offers direct exposure to business owners and involvement in key financial decisions, combining accounts receivable management, reporting, analysis, cash‑flow forecasting, VAT compliance, budgeting, and commercial decision support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, ensuring timely collection and accurate recording.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports for senior management.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Develop cash‑flow forecasts and monitor liquidity positions.
• Ensure compliance with Bahrain VAT regulations and handle related filings.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets.
• Provide commercial decision support and insights to business owners.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or financial analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, accountability, and follow‑through.
• Ability to work confidently with business owners on financial matters.
• Preference for candidates currently based in Bahrain.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Solid accounting knowledge, including accounts receivable processes.
• Familiarity with Bahrain VAT requirements.
