Assistant Service Manager – Automotive

About the role

Zayani Motors is looking for an Assistant Service Manager to support the Service Manager in running a busy automotive service department. The role focuses on ensuring high customer satisfaction, efficient workshop operations, and strong team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager with daily management of the service department and workshop.
• Supervise, mentor, and motivate service advisors and technicians to meet departmental goals.
• Act as primary contact for customer enquiries, delivering exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
• Monitor workshop workflow to ensure timely, high‑quality vehicle repairs.
• Manage workshop loading, scheduling, and job allocation.
• Conduct quality control checks on completed work.
• Help prepare and analyse service department performance reports.
• Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an automotive service environment, preferably in a supervisory or senior technician role.
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
• Organisational and problem‑solving skills, able to work under pressure.
• Full, valid driving licence.
