Bar & Lounge Director – Luxury Hospitality

About the role

The Bar & Lounge Director provides strategic and operational leadership for a luxury cocktail lounge at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving financial performance, and fostering innovative beverage programming.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all bar and lounge operations, ensuring seamless, elevated guest experiences.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to boost revenue, profitability, and brand recognition.
• Lead, coach, and develop management and front‑line teams to achieve service excellence.
• Drive beverage innovation through creative cocktail programs, premium spirit and wine selections, and seasonal experiences.
• Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
• Maintain luxury service standards, inventory controls, and compliance with local regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• 5‑8 years progressive leadership experience in luxury hospitality, upscale nightlife or premium lounge operations.
• Proven success managing high‑volume, luxury food‑and‑beverage venues with strong P&L responsibility.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hospitality management systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
