Business Development Manager – Events & Exhibitions

About the role

The Business Development Manager – Events & Exhibitions will lead the growth of our event and exhibition services across the Middle East. Based in Manama, you will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue for customized exhibition booths and immersive experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify leads, preparing compelling proposals and presentations.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals with B2B clients.
• Coordinate closely with design and operations teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements.
• Monitor market trends, attend industry events, and provide input on sales strategies and pricing.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines, update CRM records, and report performance to leadership.
• Contribute to long‑term account development and client retention.

Required profile

• Proven business development and sales experience, including lead generation and client relationship management.
• Background in events and exhibitions with knowledge of booth design and production workflows.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong market research and strategic thinking abilities.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Events Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Successful B2B sales track record in the Middle East events or exhibitions sector.
• Proactive, results‑oriented mindset and willingness to travel within the region.
