Chef de Partie – Mediterranean/Western Cuisine

About the role

The Chef de Partie will lead the Mediterranean and Western cuisine section at Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain, ensuring the highest standards of quality, service and hygiene in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Control and oversee the assigned kitchen section, maintaining Raffles standards.
• Prepare daily food items according to business requirements and recipe specifications.
• Organise shift mise‑en‑place with the Chef de Partie and manage stock requisitions, dry store and kitchen transfers.
• Maintain a clean, tidy work area and ensure proper food storage and safety procedures.
• Report equipment issues, attend daily and monthly meetings, and log accidents or sickness.
• Support the Chef de Cuisine in developing new recipes and menu ideas.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years experience in a fine‑dining or luxury hotel kitchen.
• Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven ability to supervise a kitchen section and work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Proficiency with modern kitchen equipment and technologies.
• Expertise in a variety of culinary techniques and current fine‑dining trends.
