Demi Chef de Partie – Banquet & Villa Dining

About the role

The Demi Chef de Partie will support the Chef de Partie in delivering high‑standard banquet and villa dining services at Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain. You will ensure smooth kitchen operations, maintain quality, and uphold the brand’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Control and organise your section, ensuring mise‑en‑place, food storage and daily checklists are completed.
• Prepare dishes daily according to recipes, portion sizes and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Chef de Partie on shift planning, requisitions, stock rotation and menu development.
• Monitor equipment, report any failures and ensure health, safety and hygiene policies are followed.
• Maintain a clean, tidy work environment and hand over information to the next shift.

Required profile

• Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
• Proven experience supervising a kitchen section, preferably in banquet or villa dining environments.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Required skills

• Proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques and culinary preparations.
• Ability to operate modern kitchen equipment and technologies.
• In‑depth understanding of HACCP and food safety standards.
