Electrician – Facility Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our facilities team at a premier hospitality property in Manama. You will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems to ensure safe and reliable operation across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning tools, equipment, and electrical components.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components; use testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Plan layout and installation of wiring and fixtures in accordance with the National Electric Code and local regulations.
• Read and follow blueprints and schematics to guide installations and repairs.
• Respond to repair requests, perform preventative maintenance, and manage inventory of parts and supplies.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, report hazards, and complete required safety training.

Required profile

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree in electrical work.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Experience using ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Knowledge of circuit breakers, transformers, and wiring systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with the National Electric Code and local electrical codes.
