Events Director – International B2B Events

About the role

Bay Avenue Tours is seeking an experienced Events Director to lead the planning and execution of high‑profile international B2B events. Based in Manama, the role reports to senior leadership and is responsible for driving event growth, profitability, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Identify keynote speakers and design high‑impact event programmes.
• Plan, execute and deliver international events that meet strategic objectives.
• Own event sales, services, campaigns, performance metrics and profitability.
• Maintain high levels of client and team satisfaction throughout the event lifecycle.
• Create event themes, messaging, branding, content and innovative audience‑engagement ideas.
• Manage multiple timelines, deadlines and actions in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Build relationships and pitch new ideas to senior stakeholders and board members.
• Resolve problems quickly and develop effective solutions.

Required profile

• 12–15 years of experience managing international events and leading large teams.
• Proven experience working with stakeholders and board members.
• Deep expertise in the B2B events industry and its role in lead generation and sales enablement.
• Exceptional project direction and management abilities.
• Strong client‑management and relationship‑building skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving capabilities.
