Fund Accounting Internship – Deal-by-Deal Operations

About the role

Join Apex Group’s 12‑month internship programme and dive into private markets operations. As a Deal‑by‑Deal Operations Intern you will support the full lifecycle of private equity and real‑estate investment structures, from set‑up through placements, reporting, distributions and reconciliations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of investment structures.
• Support acquisition and funding activities across multi‑entity deals.
• Record investor subscriptions, placements and capital movements.
• Perform cash matching, receivable management and transaction monitoring.
• Calculate fees, prepare accounting entries and aid investor reporting.
• Process distributions and manage return‑of‑capital activities.
• Handle asset issuance and investor ownership administration.
• Execute financial reconciliations and month‑end operational processes.

Required profile
