Head of HR

About the role

The Head of HR will act as an internal client‑oriented leader, overseeing all HR functions across multiple sites. This senior position is responsible for shaping HR strategy, ensuring compliance with local labour law, and driving talent management initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver periodic HR reports locally and to headquarters.
• Continuously update internal HR policies and procedures.
• Lead a team of HR clerks and General Services administrative staff.
• Organise annual appraisals, salary increases and bonus allocation committees.
• Design, supervise, and budget the annual training plan.
• Oversee recruitment processes from candidate selection to visa approvals.
• Manage disciplinary actions in accordance with local labour law.
• Provide HR guidance and support to all management levels.
• Serve as the primary contact for health and life insurance policies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date employee information in the HR Management System.
• Develop and roll out HR communications.
• Plan and execute HR events such as seminars, team‑building activities and staff parties.
• Prepare and monitor the annual HR budget.

Required profile

• Strong internal client orientation with a focus on employee relations.
• Proven experience leading HR teams and managing multi‑site operations.
• In‑depth knowledge of local labour legislation and disciplinary procedures.
• Ability to produce accurate HR reporting and manage budgets.
• Experience coordinating talent acquisition, training programs and compensation processes.
