Head of Technology Operations and IT Governance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT leader to drive the development of our strategic digital channels, including mobile applications, system integrations, and core business applications. The role combines technology operations, architecture oversight, and IT governance to ensure scalable, secure, and high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery planning across all development streams, prioritising work and managing dependencies.
• Oversee execution of the development roadmap, addressing bottlenecks, blockers and scope risks.
• Provide architectural oversight for mobile apps, APIs, system integrations and core applications.
• Define and maintain IT policies, procedures and governance frameworks, including risk assessments and audit coordination.
• Manage internal and vendor development resources, including capacity planning, performance KPIs and offshore team alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as DevOps enablement, CI/CD pipelines, automation and code‑quality frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in technology operations, software development and application management.
• Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management and compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage external vendors.
