HR Specialist / HR & Administration Manager (Chief People Officer)

About the role

We are looking for a capable, people‑focused HR professional to lead and support key human resources and administrative functions. The role will shape people strategies, strengthen organisational processes, and ensure HR operations align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures that support organisational goals.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee development, performance management and the full employee lifecycle.
• Build talent‑management and workforce‑planning frameworks.
• Support employee engagement, culture, retention and internal communication initiatives.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and workplace matters.
• Oversee HR administration, documentation, records and internal processes.
• Establish performance evaluation and career‑development programmes.
• Identify and implement improvements to HR systems, workflows and operational efficiency.
• Support succession planning, leadership development and organisational development initiatives.
• Monitor HR metrics, prepare reports and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology or a related field.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, employee‑lifecycle management and organisational development.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proven leadership and people‑management capabilities, able to work with employees and senior stakeholders.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving and analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with HRIS or other digital HR management systems.
