Industrial Heater Specialist – Design & Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Heater Specialist to join our engineering team. In this role you will design, develop, and manufacture a broad portfolio of industrial heating solutions, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and efficiency standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise various industrial heaters, including tubular, mica flat, band, immersion, finned, cartridge, ceramic, and custom‑engineered ovens.
• Perform welding of steel and stainless‑steel components using SMAW, GMAW and TIG techniques.
• Collaborate with product development, manufacturing and quality assurance teams to align heater designs with customer requirements and industry regulations.
• Conduct research on new materials, technologies and manufacturing methods to improve heater performance and cost‑effectiveness.
• Execute engineering calculations, simulations and modelling to verify sizing and performance.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings and documentation for production.
• Test and validate heaters for durability, safety and performance, and troubleshoot issues in‑field or during production.
• Provide technical support to customers, sales and service teams regarding heater selection, installation and maintenance.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in industrial heater design and manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of heater technologies, materials and production processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
