About the role
The Internal Auditor will support Abu-Ghazaleh Professional Recruitment in delivering high‑quality audit services across its operations in Bahrain. Reporting to senior audit leadership, the role focuses on executing audit plans, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform audit activities in line with internal audit policies, methodology, and standards.
- Develop draft audit deliverables, including issue reports and recommendations, tailored to executive expectations.
- Manage work assignments to meet schedule requirements and ensure timely completion.
- Participate in risk assessment, annual audit planning, and execution phases.
- Document audit work, design work programs, testing strategies, and detailed procedures.
- Maintain organized electronic and manual audit folders for easy retrieval.
- Support the internal audit training program and pursue agreed development goals.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3‑5 years of experience in internal audit or related financial auditing.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Notice period of one month or less.
- Open to candidates of any gender.
Required skills
- Strong computer skills for audit tools and documentation.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles.
- Familiarity with auditing standards and best practices.
