Investment Director – Remote (Global)

About the role

We are seeking an Investment Director to lead research and manage the end‑to‑end investment process for a Dubai‑based firm with a global, diversified portfolio. This remote, high‑autonomy position combines deep market expertise with rigorous operational oversight to enhance portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead due‑diligence on investment opportunities across strategies, geographies, and asset classes.
• Coordinate the full due‑diligence lifecycle, maintain trackers, and produce comprehensive investment memoranda for senior leadership.
• Conduct macroeconomic and market analysis, develop scenario models, and deliver actionable insights to inform portfolio positioning.
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with investment managers to monitor strategy evolution, performance attribution, and organizational stability.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize research capabilities and drive analytical excellence across the division.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of experience in investment management, research, portfolio management, or institutional allocation.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, complex instruments, and risk metrics.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑stakeholder projects and communicate findings clearly.
• Professional certifications such as CFA or CAIA are a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming for investment analysis and portfolio management.
• Proficiency with Bloomberg and other industry‑standard investment tools.
• Additional programming knowledge (e.g., R, SQL) is advantageous.
