Key Account Manager – Animal Health

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our Animal Health business and drive growth of strategic customer accounts across the assigned market. The role involves managing high‑value accounts, developing long‑term relationships and achieving sales, margin and collection targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop strategic key accounts such as major farms, veterinary groups, pharmacies and corporate customers.
• Develop and execute annual account plans and sales strategies for assigned accounts.
• Achieve agreed sales, gross margin and collection targets.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with veterinarians, procurement teams, farm owners and pharmacy groups.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, cross‑selling and portfolio expansion.
• Provide technical and commercial solutions in collaboration with Scientific Advisors and Technical teams.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, commercial terms, tenders, contracts and promotions.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, account plans, pipeline updates and performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Animal Health, Veterinary or a closely related industry.
• Proven experience in key account management, B2B sales or strategic account management.
• Strong knowledge of the Animal Health and Veterinary market.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales, gross margin and collection targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑management skills.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across assigned accounts.
