About the role

The British University of Bahrain is seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer of Law to join its College of Business and Law. This full‑time academic position involves delivering high‑quality teaching, supervising research projects and contributing to curriculum development in a dynamic, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate law courses with excellence.
• Design and develop innovative teaching, learning and assessment materials.
• Supervise student projects, dissertations and research activities.
• Act as a personal tutor, providing academic guidance and support.
• Conduct and publish research in your specialist area of law.
• Collaborate on curriculum development with the University of Salford.
• Participate in outreach, student recruitment and engagement initiatives.
• Support academic leadership, quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognised UK higher‑education institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Law or equivalent professional experience.
• FHEA or Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching law in higher education and supporting student learning.
• Evidence of research, scholarship or relevant professional legal practice.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, mentoring and teamwork skills.
• Strong commitment to student success and academic excellence.
