Occupational Therapist – Onsite (Bahrain)

About the role

Amana Healthcare is opening its first facility in Bahrain, located in Al Jasra, and is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the on‑site team. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients with physical, neurological, cognitive and psychosocial needs, supporting their journey towards greater independence.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments for diverse patient populations.
• Design, implement and regularly update individualized treatment plans aligned with rehabilitation goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions aimed at improving activities of daily living, mobility, cognition and overall quality of life.
• Participate in discharge planning, including home assessments, equipment recommendations and caregiver education.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Uphold patient safety, infection‑control practices and ethical standards at all times.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Valid NHRA license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• 6–8 years of clinical experience, preferably in neurological rehabilitation, geriatrics, complex medical cases or long‑term care.
