Principal Account Executive

About the role

ACI is looking for a Principal Account Executive to drive growth across Bahrain, Kuwait and Egypt. You will be responsible for marketing ACI’s payments products and services, building strong relationships with key customers, and closing complex sales opportunities in a fast‑moving technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for ACI’s payments solutions within the assigned territory.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, following ACI’s best‑practice methodology.
• Maintain and grow relationships with senior executives at existing and prospective accounts.
• Provide accurate account and pipeline updates, forecasts and territory records.
• Stay informed on product enhancements, competitor activity and industry trends.
• Support distributors where appropriate and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 12 years of direct sales experience in financial institutions, processors, merchants or related sectors.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in payments, e‑commerce or mobile payments.
• Proven track record of achieving large, complex sales targets.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
