Senior Analyst - Cyber Defense

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Analyst – Cyber Defense to lead advanced incident response and threat mitigation activities. The role will support the Cyber Defense Center in protecting the organization’s assets and ensuring business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement containment and recovery strategies, including advanced forensics and malware reverse‑engineering.
• Lead incident response actions, prioritize high‑severity incidents and communicate requirements to internal stakeholders.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, isolate weaknesses and recommend remediation to maintain system integrity.
• Conduct threat hunting by reviewing alerts, threat intelligence and security data.
• Create incident playbooks, custom scripts and utility applications to automate repetitive tasks and improve CDC/NOC productivity.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning, testing and documentation.
• Assist in designing security infrastructure and provide technical guidance for projects.
• Train and mentor CDC/NOC analysts on security tools, threat intelligence and response procedures.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in incident response, digital forensics and malware analysis.
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment methodologies and threat‑hunting techniques.
• Proven ability to develop automation scripts and incident playbooks.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal technical teams and external service providers.
• Experience in business continuity, disaster recovery planning and security architecture design.
