Senior Business Analyst – Core Banking (T24)

About the role

Our client, a leading Islamic bank in Bahrain, is seeking a commercially‑savvy Senior Business Analyst with hands‑on experience in the Temenos T24 core banking system. The role will focus on analysing, documenting and delivering system requirements for Sharia‑compliant banking initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document detailed business requirements for core banking projects and system enhancements.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert on T24 configuration, workflows and module functionality.
• Translate complex banking and operational needs into structured Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
• Liaise between business stakeholders, IT teams and senior management to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Support User Acceptance Testing, system integration testing and go‑live activities.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify process‑improvement opportunities within core banking operations.
• Ensure all solutions comply with Islamic banking principles and Bahrain regulatory standards.
• Provide ongoing support and training to internal teams on T24 functionality and updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of business analysis experience in banking or financial services.
• Hands‑on expertise with Temenos T24 core banking system.
• Strong understanding of Islamic banking products and Sharia‑compliant structures.
• Proven ability to produce BRDs, use cases and functional specifications.
• Familiarity with Bahrain Central Bank (CBB) regulatory requirements is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to work onsite in Manama.
