Senior Manager – Audit (Wealth & Asset Management)

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Manager with deep expertise in Wealth & Asset Management to lead complex audit engagements for its Bahrain Audit team. You will shape audit strategy, ensure high‑quality delivery, and contribute to the growth of the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute audit strategies in collaboration with partners, complying with EY policies.
• Perform complex audit procedures and lead engagement teams of varying sizes.
• Manage engagement finances, including staffing, fee tracking, and issue communication.
• Drive business development initiatives and nurture client relationships.
• Identify and escalate risks, ensuring delivery of high‑quality work.
• Coach, mentor, and develop junior staff, supporting recruitment and training programs.

Required profile

• Strong academic record with a degree and an accounting qualification (ACCA, CA, CPA).
• Minimum 10 years of external audit experience, specifically in Wealth & Asset Management.
• Experience in a Big 4 environment and in risk‑based audit processes.
• Project‑management experience and solid knowledge of current and upcoming IFRS.
• Fluent English communication and effective presentation skills.
