Accountant – Full‑time in Manama

About the role

Alzayani Investments is looking for a motivated Accountant to join its team in Manama, Bahrain. This full‑time position involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier payments, verify supporting documentation, and coordinate with internal auditors.
• Receive customer cheques, issue official receipts, and assign control numbers for invoices and vouchers.
• Enter data into the accounting system, manage the Fixed Assets Management System, and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Handle petty cash vouchers, utility bill payments, and assist with VAT return reconciliation.
• Support fixed‑assets audits and contribute to team objectives as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software and fixed‑assets management systems.
