Area Visual Merchandiser – Retail Visual Design

About the role

The Area Visual Merchandiser will create compelling, on‑brand store displays across multiple locations, ensuring products are presented to maximise sales and enhance the customer experience. You will work closely with store teams to implement seasonal and promotional visual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement in‑store visual displays that reflect the brand’s aesthetic and corporate guidelines.
• Collaborate with store managers and sales teams to plan and execute promotional, seasonal, and new‑product displays.
• Conduct regular store visits and merchandising audits to assess display effectiveness and compliance.
• Provide training and mentorship to store staff on visual merchandising techniques and standards.
• Work with sales, marketing and retail teams to align in‑store campaigns with broader marketing initiatives.
• Manage visual merchandising tools, props and materials, ensuring timely replenishment.
• Analyse sales and traffic data to refine visual strategies and optimise product placement.
• Report store conditions, display performance and issues to the Visual Merchandising Manager.
