Assortment Planning Assistant / Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Assortment Planning Assistant / Specialist to support the full lifecycle of product assortment across our construction projects. The role is fully remote and involves analytical and operational support from product selection to final reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of assortment planning strategies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Assist with product selection, pre‑season planning, procurement, inventory allocation, sales performance monitoring and replenishment.
• Collaborate with project managers, commercial teams, procurement, legal, finance, marketing, sales, operations, technology, suppliers and executive leadership.
• Maintain product catalogs, pricing data, supplier information, purchase orders and related commercial documents.
• Establish and uphold procedures for SKU management, demand forecasting, inventory planning, purchasing, allocation, promotions, markdowns and product lifecycle records.
• Monitor product, supplier and category performance against sales targets, margin expectations and delivery schedules.
• Assist in managing assortment adjustments such as additions, deletions, substitutions, seasonal changes, slow‑moving inventory and shortages.

Required profile

• Mid‑level to senior experience in assortment planning, inventory management or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales forecasts, historical performance and inventory data.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams in a remote environment.
