Bid Manager – Remote (Bahrain)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to lead end‑to‑end bid processes for strategic opportunities. Based in Bahrain and working fully remotely, you will coordinate cross‑functional teams to develop compelling proposals that meet customer requirements and drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete bid lifecycle from opportunity identification through final submission.
• Develop bid strategies aligned with customer needs and company objectives.
• Lead proposal development, including RFP/RFQ/RFI responses and commercial submissions.
• Coordinate with sales, technical, legal, finance and operations teams to gather inputs and ensure compliance.
• Analyse customer requirements, evaluation criteria, competitors and market opportunities.
• Craft value propositions, executive summaries and solution narratives.
• Maintain bid schedules, monitor risks, approvals and submission governance.
• Support pricing strategies, commercial models and contract negotiations.
• Maintain bid libraries, templates and best‑practice repositories.
• Track bid performance metrics and present insights to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Project Management or related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in bid, proposal or tender management, sales operations or commercial roles.
• Proven track record managing complex bids and competitive proposals.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
