About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for the firm by identifying and securing opportunities within the GCC insurance sector. The role focuses on expanding market presence, building lasting client relationships, and increasing revenue through tailored consultancy services for insurance companies, brokers and related stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a business development strategy for the GCC insurance sector, aligned with the firm’s overall goals.
  • Identify, prioritize and pursue target markets and client segments, including insurance companies, brokers and loss adjusters.
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision‑makers, represent the firm at industry events and networking opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes and competitor activity to generate new opportunities and provide market insights.
  • Prepare high‑quality proposals, presentations and service agreements, and lead contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with consulting, marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and relay client feedback.
  • Set and achieve business development targets, report KPI performance to senior management and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CII or CPCU.
  • Minimum 7 years of business development or sales experience within the insurance sector.
  • Proven track record of generating revenue and closing deals with insurance companies, brokers or loss adjusters.
  • Strong understanding of the GCC insurance market, regulatory frameworks and industry trends.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
  • Goal‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to work in a competitive environment.
