About the role

Marriott International is seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead the fine‑dining operations of La Med, La Table Krug, and La Terrace in Manama. The role combines hands‑on culinary leadership with strategic oversight to deliver world‑class guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations while upholding luxury service standards.
• Drive guest satisfaction and create memorable dining experiences.
• Develop, mentor, and inspire high‑performing service and kitchen teams.
• Collaborate with culinary leadership to ensure seamless execution of menus.
• Manage budgets, labor costs, profitability, and operational efficiencies.
• Implement innovative concepts and continuously elevate the guest journey.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Support business growth through strategic planning and revenue‑generating initiatives.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in internationally recognised 5‑star luxury hotels.
• Minimum 6 years in leadership roles within Michelin‑starred fine‑dining restaurants.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong commercial acumen and business management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of luxury service standards and fine‑dining etiquette.
• Extensive wine knowledge and awareness of culinary trends.
