About the role
GFX Securities is seeking a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to design, implement and oversee a comprehensive enterprise risk management framework. The CRO will protect the firm from market, credit and operational exposures while ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain risk policies, procedures and governance structures.
- Identify, assess and monitor market, credit and operational risks across the organization.
- Prepare regular risk reports for senior management and the board of directors.
- Lead risk‑aware culture initiatives and provide guidance to business units.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and internal risk limits.
Required profile
- 5 to 7 years of dedicated experience in a risk management function.
- Hold at least one professional qualification such as FRM, PRM, CFA, ARM, or a recognized actuarial qualification.

- Competitive compensation ranging from 800 to 1,000 BHD per month.
