Credit Analyst

About the role

A customer of Qureos Inc is hiring a Credit Analyst in Manama, Bahrain. The role suits someone with a strong finance background who enjoys analysing credit data and financial statements to judge the risk of extending credit or lending money. The position requires at least 2 years of experience in credit analysis or a related field.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse credit data and financial statements to determine the creditworthiness of individuals or businesses.
• Prepare reports summarising credit analysis findings and recommend actions to management.
• Monitor existing clients' credit limits and adjust them according to changing financial conditions.
• Work with the sales team on credit policies and procedures.
• Review credit portfolios regularly to spot risks and opportunities.
• Stay up to date on economic trends and market conditions affecting credit risk.
• Maintain accurate records of credit analysis and client interactions in line with company policy.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit analysis or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented, organised and able to handle several tasks at once.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data.
