Diagnostic Technician

About the role

Golden Motors is seeking a full‑time Diagnostic Technician to join its Bahrain workshop. The role focuses on advanced diagnostics of mechanical, electrical and electronic systems on luxury vehicles, especially Rolls‑Royce and Bentley models.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics using manufacturer‑specific and proprietary software, tools, and equipment.
• Identify faults, interpret diagnostic codes and data, and prepare detailed technical reports.
• Recommend appropriate repair actions in coordination with service advisors and workshop teams.
• Conduct test drives when required and validate repair quality.
• Update vehicle records and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturer standards.
• Share technical findings, participate in training on new technologies, and help maintain a clean, organized workshop environment.

Required profile

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities in mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems, preferably with luxury marques.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, OEM and proprietary software, ECU programming, and digital calibration/coding processes.
• Solid understanding of automotive engineering principles, service procedures, and manufacturer specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Attention to detail, good time‑management, and ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced workshop.
• Relevant technical diploma, vocational certification, or equivalent experience in automotive technology.
• Previous experience as a diagnostic or senior technician is highly desirable.
