Director of Sales & Marketing

About the role

The Director of Sales & Marketing will lead the commercial strategy for Hawar Resort by Mantis, driving revenue, market share and profitability across all segments. Reporting to the General Manager, the role oversees sales, marketing, revenue management, public relations, digital initiatives and business development to position the resort as the premier luxury island destination in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual sales strategies and business plans to meet revenue and occupancy targets.
• Lead and manage the sales team to maximise corporate, leisure, MICE, government, wholesale and travel trade business.
• Identify new business opportunities and market segments locally, regionally and internationally.
• Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, travel agencies, tour operators, government entities and corporate clients.
• Conduct sales calls, client visits, trade shows, roadshows and networking events.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to spot opportunities and risks.
• Design and execute integrated marketing strategies to boost brand awareness and market positioning.
• Oversee digital marketing, social media campaigns, website optimisation, SEO, SEM and online reputation management.
• Manage public relations activities and media partnerships.
• Coordinate promotional campaigns, seasonal offers and destination marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimise pricing, RevPAR, ADR and occupancy.
