Electrical Technician (EWA Licensed) – Commercial & EV Charging

About the role

We are seeking a licensed Electrical Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems across commercial, residential and industrial sites, including electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. The role ensures compliance with Bahrain EWA regulations, electrical safety standards, and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, wiring, distribution boards, circuit breakers, lighting, sockets and power outlets.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical assets and EV charging stations.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical specifications.
• Commission, test and maintain EV charging stations, including cabling, protective devices and distribution systems.
• Conduct site inspections, prepare infrastructure for EV charger installations and resolve electrical faults.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and clients during installation projects.
• Prepare installation reports, commissioning documents, maintenance records and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Support facility improvement projects and energy‑efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• Valid EWA Electrical Technician License (mandatory).
• Diploma, ITI or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
• Experience in commercial buildings or facilities management preferred.
• Experience with EV charger installation is an advantage.
• Good time‑management and organizational skills.
