Fashion Sales Associate / Fashion Stylist

About the role

A stylish, customer-focused and sales-driven Fashion Sales Associate / Fashion Stylist is sought to provide exceptional customer service and personalised fashion recommendations. The role covers helping customers choose clothes, building stylish outfits, promoting the latest collections and reaching sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers with professional, personalised fashion styling advice
• Recommend clothing, footwear and accessories based on customer preferences, body type, lifestyle and occasion
• Explain collections, materials, designs, sizes and current trends
• Achieve individual and store sales targets through upselling and cross-selling
• Build customer relationships to encourage repeat business
• Help with product selection, fitting, sizing and outfit coordination
• Maintain displays, visual merchandising and store presentation
• Monitor inventory, replenish stock and help with stock management
• Handle enquiries, feedback, exchanges and complaints professionally
• Support promotions, seasonal collections, product launches and in-store events
• Maintain sales records and process transactions using POS systems
• Stay up to date on fashion trends, market developments and competitors

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Marketing or a related field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in fashion retail, sales, personal styling or customer service
• Experience with premium brands, designer labels or luxury retail is an advantage
• Strong passion for fashion, styling and current trends
• Good knowledge of fabrics, garment fitting and styling techniques
• Excellent sales, communication, presentation and customer relationship skills
• Well-groomed, presentable and able to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
